he island has six main towns, with Sant Francesc Xavier being the capital village of them all. The villages are spread pretty evenly over the island with perhaps the Cap de Barbaria area the only part of the island without a town.

Every town has their own character and most have all the necessary shops that provide at least the most basic of items one might require when on holiday on Formentera. All towns but El Pilar de la Mola have Farmacies.

All towns are well connected by an asphalted road that goes from one part of the island to the other. We have listed all six towns for you with some general information and images for you to have an idea of what to expect when visiting Formentera.
